Where does the market data come from?
Prices, candles, market totals, sectors, exchange pairs and trending searches come from CoinGecko. Pull down on a screen to request the latest figures.
Why is a price slightly different from my exchange?
CoinGecko combines prices from many exchanges, so its figure can differ a little from any single exchange and may arrive with a short delay.
What are "flash bits"?
Short readings the app builds from the latest figures, such as how many of the largest coins are higher than 24 hours ago or how far a coin sits from its all-time high. Bits with an arrow open the coin they describe.
How do I add a coin to my watchlist?
Open the coin and tap the star at the top right. Your watchlist appears on the Markets tab under Watchlist and is saved on your iPhone.
How should I read the sector heat map?
Each tile is a sector. Its size follows the sector's market cap on a square-root scale, and its colour follows the 24-hour change, from red for falls to green for rises. Tap a tile to see the coins inside.
What do the Compare figures mean?
Each line starts at 0% on the first day of the range. "Deepest drop" is the largest fall from a previous high, "typical daily move" is the standard deviation of daily changes, and correlation shows how closely two coins moved on the same days.
Can I buy or sell crypto in the app?
No. FLASH BIT shows market information only. It does not place orders, hold funds or connect to exchange or wallet accounts.
A screen says the data service is busy. What should I do?
Wait a moment and tap Try again, or pull down to refresh. If it keeps happening, please email us.
Does the app collect my data?
No. There is no account, and the app contains no analytics or advertising. See the Privacy Policy for details.
