FLASH BIT
Overview
This policy explains how the FLASH BIT iOS app ("the app", "we", "us") treats information. The app is designed to work without an account, and we do not collect, store or sell personal data.
Information we do not collect
The app has no registration or login. It does not include analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting software, and it does not ask for access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, location or notifications. We do not receive information about how you use the app.
Information kept on your device
A few preferences are saved locally so the app remembers them between launches: your watchlist, the coins you chose on the Compare tab and whether haptic feedback is on. They stay in the app's storage on your iPhone, are not sent to us, and are removed when you delete the app. Market data the app downloads is held in memory for a short time to keep screens responsive.
Market data requests
To show prices, charts, sectors and coin logos, the app connects directly from your device to CoinGecko's API and image servers. As with any internet request, these servers receive standard technical information such as your IP address and the request itself. The requests do not include your name, email or any identifier created by us. CoinGecko handles this information under its own privacy policy, available at coingecko.com/en/privacy.
Links that open in the app
This policy, the Terms of Use and the CoinGecko website open in Safari View Controller inside the app. Those pages are covered by the policies of the sites that host them.
Contacting support
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in the message. We use it only to reply and keep the conversation for as long as it is needed to help you, after which it is deleted on request.
Children
The app is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Where a change is significant, we will also mention it in the app's release notes.
